A local educational institution in Southampton is seeking a Host - Security Officer to ensure safe access to the campus and safeguard students, staff, and visitors. This part-time role requires excellent communication skills and experience in security or educational settings. Candidates will be engaged Saturdays during term time, and hourly compensation is £14. Successful applicants will undergo screening to ensure suitability for working with children.
The main purpose of this role will be to welcome all students, parents, and visitors to Ditton Field from 8am until 2pm each Saturday during term time and to ensure that no one is able to access the site without permission.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills to ensure pupils, staff and visitors are safeguarded at all times. A thorough knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and health and safety, along with previous experience of working in a security or an educational setting, is highly desirable.
Hourly rate: £14 per hour.
