Job summary

A leading UK retailer is seeking a Home Delivery Driver to deliver groceries to customers in Liverpool. As a key team member, you will ensure deliveries are made on time and that you serve customers with exceptional service. Qualifications

• Must be over 18 and hold a full UK/EU driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points.
• Must have Right to Work eligibility in the UK.
• Comfortable learning new digital tools and technology.

Responsibilities

Job description

Responsibilities

• Driving a 3.5 tonne van to deliver groceries to customers' doorsteps on‑time and in a great condition.
• Completing checks to ensure the van is organised, clean, roadworthy, and that delivery cases are secure before getting out onto the road to drive safely in a variety of locations and conditions.
• Serving customers brilliantly, supporting with any questions and substitutions, and keeping them aware of any delays.
• Building great knowledge about our products, services and promotions to help provide recommendations.
• When not out making deliveries, helping across the store as needed.
• Friendly and welcoming, with a genuine enthusiasm for helping customers and providing the best doorstep experience.
• Proficient driving a large vehicle in different locations, from busy residential streets to narrow country lanes, and delivering to a variety of residential properties.
• Working happily in a fast‑paced, physical and high‑energy environment, using initiative to solve problems—often on your own but also thriving as part of a team.
• Always ready to work flexibly and productively to a high standard across the store when needed—fully trained in a variety of skills, with opportunities to learn, develop and try new things.
• Comfortable in learning to use new digital tools and technology to do your job brilliantly, and moving shopping containers up to 15 kg.

Qualifications

You must be over 18 and have held a full UK/EU driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points on it. You must have Right to Work eligibility in the UK. You will complete an online driving risk assessment as part of your interview, and if successful, there will be a driving assessment when you join us.
