Overview

From the comfort of our clients’ own homes, we provide care to many people to ensure they maintain their independence for as long as possible. Diamond Social Care wants people to join our team who are passionate about a career in care. We support a wide range of people, from those with dementia, to adults with learning disabilities.

Hours / Working pattern

We are looking for a mixture of candidates to join our team, working either full time (Around 40 hours a week) or Part time (22+ hours per week). Our shift patterns are semi flexible, and we always try to accommodate where possible! All our shifts do require alternate weekends. Although our hours are flexible, they might look a little like;

  • 7am – 2pm (Mornings / Lunches)
  • 4pm – 10.00pm (Evenings / Beds)
  • We are also open to evenings only, weekends only, and bank hours!
The Role

Care assistants support others to live independently in their own homes, which can include supporting hobbies, activities, and day trips, personal care, and any other needs of our service users. Your day-to-day duties might consist of;

  • Delivering high-quality care services in accordance with individual care plans.
  • Assisting clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Supporting clients with medication administration.
  • Assisting with mobility and transfers, using appropriate techniques and equipment to ensure safety.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and engage in meaningful conversations and activities.
  • Assist with meal preparation.
  • Help clients maintain their home. This could involve laundry, cleaning, and other domestic tasks.
