Contract Type: Long-Term (Monday to Friday)

Monarch Education is seeking a versatile and enthusiastic HLTA or Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the Coleshill area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled practitioner to work across all year groups, providing general classroom support and occasional cover for lessons.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support teaching and learning across all year groups, adapting to different classroom environments.
  • Deliver small group interventions and one-to-one support to raise attainment.
  • Provide cover for lessons when required, ensuring continuity of learning.
  • Assist with planning and preparation of resources under the guidance of the class teacher.
  • Promote positive behaviour and create an inclusive learning environment.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and parents / carers.
Requirements
  • HLTA qualification or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
  • Previous experience working across multiple year groups in a school setting.
  • Ability to lead small groups and provide lesson cover confidently.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • A proactive, flexible approach and genuine passion for supporting children's learning.
