Job summary

A local educational institution in New Penshaw is seeking a committed and flexible Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support children with significant ASD needs. The role involves working closely with the AHT & SENCO in an intervention setting. Candidates should have substantial experience as an HLTA and strong communication skills. Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ experience of being a successful HLTA.
• Proficient in supporting the delivery of all aspects of teaching and learning.
• Outstanding practitioner with high expectations for all children.

Responsibilities

• Work under the direct instruction of the school AHT & SENCO.
• Support the delivery of the EQUALS Semi Formal Curriculum in intervention.
