Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and highly IT‑literate Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting students through tailored interventions in subject areas such as English, Maths, and Social Communication, and will be instrumental in customising digital and physical learning resources to meet individual learning needs.

Qualifications
  • GCSE qualification grade C/level 5 or above, or equivalent, in English and Maths.
  • HLTA/L4 Teaching Assistant qualification or willingness to achieve within 12 months of appointment.
Pay and Hours
  • Pay band Scale 5 (scp 9 to 12): £27,254 to £28,598.
  • 28 hours per week, Monday to Friday term time plus five staff training days (39 weeks total). Working between 8.55 am to 3.30 pm, with one afternoon to 4.00 pm.
  • Salary inclusive of holiday pay: £17,681.66 to £18,553.61 (under 5 years’ service) or £17,919 to £18,802.65 (over 5 years’ service).
