Job description

Highways Labourers – Saltash

Our clients require Highway Labourers to work with and assist qualified operatives.

Due to the nature of the industry each role would require a certain flexibility and must be able to work both days and nights, including some weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to carry out work to a high standard.
• Good communication skills.
• Good timekeeping skills.
• Willingness and flexibility to undertake some shifts out of normal working hours.
• Willingness to carry out other tasks upon request.
• Ability to always maintain Health and Safety standards.
• A “can do” and responsible attitude to work.

Applicants must

• Have a full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Minimum 1 year driving experience.
• Be able to pass a Drug & Alcohol test on induction.
• CSCS, Street works, or Traffic Management qualifications are desirable, but consideration is given for those without.

Hours of work

Monday – Friday, days or nights with some weekend and bank holidays when required.

Rate of Pay

£13.00-£13.50 per hour depending upon experience.

Roles
