Overview

Highways Laboratory Technician – Hampshire | Full time | 12-month contract | £25 - £28 per hour

Are you an experienced Highways Laboratory Technician for your next challenge? Our client is seeking an experienced Highways Laboratory Technician to join them on a long term contract.

Responsibilities

• To undertake laboratory tests, record results and calibrate equipment.
• To prepare information from surveys into a format for use by Designers, Clients, and others.
• Ensure health and safety precautions, particularly traffic management, are in place with delegated authority to abort if risks are unacceptable.
• Ensure equipment is calibrated and test conditions are correct with delegated authority to abort own work if equipment/conditions are outside acceptable parameters.

Qualifications / Experience

• Experience as a Highways Laboratory Technician or in a similar role within highways/transportation projects.
