An exciting opportunity has become available for a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist looking to specialise further or a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist with interest in Neuropsychiatry to join our team at Cygnet Brunel.
Cygnet Brunel is a 32-bed Neuropsychiatric service, offering neuropsychiatric rehabilitation for individuals with complex acquired brain injury and mental health needs. The hospital provides a clinically led, evidence-based neuropsychiatric pathway for individuals presenting with behaviours that challenge. You will operate within the SLT pathway for neuropsychiatric / neurodegenerative services in the hospital as part of a small on-site SLT team. You will provide quality assessments and interventions, and be skilled in both SCLN and dysphagia. You will also be part of a company-wide SLT service and contribute to service enhancement.
The successful candidate will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS and reference check; an offer of employment will be subject to successful clearance.
