A healthcare service provider in Greater London seeks a Highly Specialist Clinician to manage complex caseloads and provide evidence-based treatments for young people. Responsibilities include clinical assessments and consultations with external agencies. Candidates should hold a degree and be registered with the HCPC or a relevant body, with evidence of clinical experience. The Hive is a mental health and well‑being service designed for and created by young people. We support young people aged 16 to 24 in Camden who need support transitioning between children's and adult mental health services. The service is led by Catch 22 but provided jointly by Catch 22, The Tavistock and Portman NHS Trust and Camden and Islington Mental Health Trust. The Hive’s one‑stop shop model offers:
The post holder will manage a complex caseload, undertaking a range of clinical assessments and offering highly skilled, outcome‑focused, evidence‑based treatments or therapies using appropriate therapeutic modalities. They will review cases where patients have impasses, complaints or disputes with their clinical care, provide consultation to external agencies such as GPs, schools and local authorities, and give expert psychological advice to other staff and agencies outside the Trust. They will communicate complex information in a highly skilled and sensitive manner, at times dealing with service users who may be hostile or present challenging behaviours.
