Job description

Veritas Education are seeking Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) required across Lancashire.

Higher Level Teaching Assistants

Locations: Preston, Leyland, Chorச் .

Full and Part time positions.

£95 - £120 per day depending on role.

Working across Key Stage 1 & 2.

Responsibilities

• Cover whole classes for PPA release time throughout the school.
• Plan and deliver maths and literacy intervention schemes, working with small groups.
• Have extensive phonics knowledge and be confident in delivering phonics interventions to EAL children.
• Covering sickness within school and working across both Key Stage 1 & 2.

Requirements

• Must be a qualified HLTA level 4 or above.
• Have previous experience working in primary schools ideally across Key Stage 1 & 2.
• Set out enforcing lesson with high expectation for the pupils.
• Experience working with a varied abilities and being able to adapt to different settings.
