Job description

Tradewind Recruitment is working with a multi-form entry primary school in Edgbaston that is looking for a Level 6 practitioner to lead their Nursery Provision.

The school has very high expectations for all their pupils, regardless of their starting points. Their dedicated and hardworking staff are fully committed to providing children with the opportunities they deserve. Staff members are very proud to work in such a nurturing and inclusive environment.

The school aims to inspire a passion for learning and success in all their endeavors. In partnership with parents and carers, each child is encouraged to follow this principle. They believe that to prepare children for the future, they are entitled to the best quality first education, combined with excellent pastoral care to help all children reach their potential.

The school has a small Nursery and is seeking a Level 6 professional to lead the nursery (not QTS). Nursery experience is essential, as candidates need solid knowledge of the EYFS framework.

  • Promoting a love of lifelong learning.
  • Exhibiting excellent organisational and social skills.
  • Building on success and managing change effectively.
  • Demonstrating a commitment to continuous improvement, promoting excellence for staff and pupils, and supporting the school's Ofsted rating.
  • Exercising excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Supporting the school's vision and fostering positive relationships across the Trust.

We offer:

  • A happy and caring school ethos.
  • A supportive team environment.
  • Opportunities for professional development, both internally and through collaboration across the school.
  • Enthusiastic, well-behaved learners engaged in school life.
  • A motivated staff and governing body who care about children’s outcomes.
  • A supportive culture for all staff.
