A leading education recruitment agency in Port Talbot is seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support pupils from the Foundation Phase to Key Stage 2. Responsibilities include planning and delivering lessons, creating stimulating classroom environments, and participating in training. Candidates must hold a Level 4 qualification or above in Teaching Assistance and have GCSEs in Maths and English. Exceptional support and training opportunities are offered, along with competitive pay.
Vision for Education is working in partnership with schools in and surrounding Swansea to appoint positive and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTA's). Each school has great transport links should you require the use of public transport.
HLTA's support children throughout the Foundation Phase to Key Stage 2, so applicants will need to have experience of working with all year groups. You will be expected to plan, evaluate and adjust lessons/plans as appropriate to respond to the needs of the pupils and deliver exceptional learning experiences. For longer term placements you will assist in creating a vibrant classroom setting, including appropriate and stimulating learning resources, to enhance children's learning. You will also benefit from each school's in‑house training sessions and staff development meetings.
Vision for Education is committed to safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults. We take our responsibilities extremely seriously. All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
