Job Summary

M4 Specialist are recruiting for 3 experienced HGV Vehicle Technicians for our client based in Dunstable to work the late shift – 14:30 to 00:00. Permanent positions are available for the right candidates. The role runs Monday to Friday with Saturday as overtime. Pay is up to £22 per hour depending on experience.

Job Role & Responsibilities

• Diagnose vehicles quickly and accurately using diagnostic tools and select the correct repair techniques.
• Work independently to maintain and repair vehicles and components.
• Carry out a range of inspections (MOT, tacho, etc.).
• Perform final checks on completed work.

Requirements

• Completed secondary vocational education.
• Broad vehicle‑related technical knowledge, preferably across a wide range of products.
• Extensive experience carrying out repairs and maintenance on trucks, components, and associated vehicles.
• Familiarity with developments in the automotive industry.
• Provide your own tool‑kit and possess a valid driving licence (preferably HGV but not essential).
