Overview

Were Hiring: HGV Truck / Trailer Technician

Location: Workshop-based (with occasional customer site work)

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, service & repair trailers to the highest standards
• Carry out routine inspections & preventive maintenance
• Diagnose & fix mechanical, electrical & hydraulic issues
• Keep accurate service & compliance records
• Safely operate company vehicles
• Deliver excellent customer service & meet deadlines
• Always follow company health & safety policies

Qualifications & Skills

• Time-served technician or City & Guilds Levels 1, 2 & 3 (or equivalent)
• Strong technical experience in trailer repairs
• Welding experience (preferred)
• Compressor/Blowing equipment knowledge (a plus)
• Excellent communication & organisational skills
• Able to complete accurate documentation
• Ability to work independently & prioritise tasks
