Overview

HGV Technician - Corby (4 on 4 off Day Shift)

Location: Corby, North Northamptonshire

Pay: £21.19 per hour

Shift: 4 on 4 off - Day Shift (06:00 - 18:30)

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, and repair HGVs to a high standard
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance and inspections
• Diagnose faults using modern diagnostic tools and PC systems
• Complete job cards, service, and inspection sheets accurately
• Conduct road tests and ensure vehicles meet safety and compliance standards
• Handle vehicles, tools, and equipment with care
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment

Requirements

• NVQ / City & Guilds qualified technician OR proven HGV repair experience
• Full driving licence
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• LGV C+E Licence and knowledge of Driver CPC or other legislated requirements are a bonus
