Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking an experienced HGV Technician for a role based in Stoke-on-Trent. You will be responsible for routine vehicle maintenance, preparing vehicles for MOT, and diagnosing issues using diagnostic equipment. The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 qualification in motor vehicle engineering and prior experience in a dealership or fleet maintenance environment. Competitive package with an OTE of £55,000+ per annum and a shift pattern of 4 on 4 off.

Qualifications

• Prior HGV Technician experience in a dealership or fleet maintenance environment.
• Level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician.
• HGV licence is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine vehicle maintenance to DVSA standards.
• Prepare and present vehicles and trailers for MOT inspection.
• Diagnose vehicles using diagnostic equipment.
• Maintain good housekeeping and health & safety standards.
• Ensure all paperwork is completed.

OTE: £55,000+pa

Job Details

Basic Salary: £47,301pa

Working Hours: 4 on 4 off - 18:00-06:00

Location: Stoke

For the HGV Mechanicrole you will need to have prior HGV Technician experience working within a dealership or fleet maintenance environment.

Responsibilities

• Routine vehicle maintenance to DVSA standards.
• Preparation and presentation of vehicles and trailers for MOT inspection.
• Diagnosing of vehicles diagnostic equipment.
• Good housekeeping and H&S requirements.
• Ensure all paperwork is completed.
