Overview

HGV Technician

Location: Telford, TF3 area

Salary: OTE up to £50,000 per annum (dependent on experience, shifts and qualifications)

Working Hours
  • Week 1: 6:00 am – 2:00 pm
  • Week 2: 12:00 pm – 9:30 pm
  • 39-45 hours per week
  • Additional duties may be required in line with business needs
Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose, service and repair a range of commercial vehicles
  • Carry out routine inspections and maintenance
  • Use diagnostic tools and software to identify faults
  • Ensure all work meets manufacturer and DVSA standards
  • Work collaboratively with workshop and service colleagues
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with health and safety procedures
Candidate Requirements
  • Qualified HGV Technician / Mechanic (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
  • Previous experience with commercial vehicles (specific brand experience desirable but not essential)
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Professional, proactive and team-focused approach
  • Full UK driving licence (HGV licence advantageous)
