Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Carry out servicing, repairs and maintenance on heavy vehicles.
  • Complete diagnostics and contracted maintenance.
  • Support MOT preparation and ensure vehicles meet required standards.
  • Keep the workshop safe, clean, and efficient.

HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter – Exeter

Location: Exeter

Salary: £40,000 – £55,000 per year (DOE)

Hours: 07:00–15:30 and 15:00–23:00, Monday to Friday

Shifts: Alternating early and late shift plus Saturday mornings 08:30–12:30

Job Type: Full time permanent

Requirements
Essential
  • NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent
  • Strong technical understanding of heavy vehicle systems
  • Ability to work both early and late shifts
Desirable
  • Experience within a dealership or fleet environment
  • Additional qualifications such as IRTEC
  • Experience with diagnostics software
