Job summary

A UK & International Haulage Company is seeking an experienced mechanic or trailer engineer to join their workshop team. The ideal candidate will conduct vehicle inspections, perform diagnostics, and carry out general repairs. A qualified HGV Technician/Mechanic with an NVQ level 2 or equivalent is preferred. The role offers a salary range of £38,000.00 - £45,000.00 per year and benefits including a company pension and on-site parking.

Qualifications

• Qualified HGV Technician/Mechanic with a minimum of NVQ level 2 or equivalent.
• Ability to work as part of a team and also unsupervised.
• Class 1 or 2 license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics and general repairs.
• Complete all required paperwork.

We are a UK & International Haulage Company servicing our own fleet & third party vehicles.

Responsibilities

• MOT preparation/presentation
• Diagnostics

• Completion of all required paperwork

Qualifications

• Qualified HGV Technician/Mechanic with a minimum of NVQ level 2 or equivalent, or have a proven track record of experience
• Ability to work as part of a team and also unsupervised with a high level of self-motivation
• Class 1 or 2 license preferred but not required

Details

Salary negotiable dependent on experience. We will pay a good wage to a suitably experienced candidate. Salary to be discussed and subject to experience.
