Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking a qualified HGV Mechanic for their client's dealership in Poyle, England. This role requires expertise in maintenance, repairs and overhauls of HGVs and trailers. The successful candidate will follow a structured repair process from analysis to completion. Applicants must be apprentice trained and qualified to NVQ level 3 or equivalent. This position offers a competitive salary of £50,000-£60,000 per annum with working hours from 10 PM to 6:30 AM, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

  • Qualified HGV Mechanic with experience in a dealership or fleet workshop.
  • Apprentice trained with NVQ level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics.

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance, repairs, and major overhauls on HGVs.
  • Conduct routine inspections and Pre-MOT inspections.
  • Follow the repair process from fault analysis to completion.

Skills

HGV Mechanic

Pay: £50,000-£60,000 per annum

Hours: 10pm-6:30am | Days: Monday-Friday

My client is seeking a qualified HGV Mechanic to join their dealership in Waltham Cross and assist in providing a high quality and efficient heavy vehicle service offering to their customers. Our hugely successful client is expanding after a number of new contract wins.

As an HGV Mechanic you will be based in a busy workshop environment you will be required to undertake all levels of maintenance, repairs and major overhauls as well as completing standard servicing and diagnostics. You must be capable of following the repair process from fault analysis to completion. Maintenance and repair of all types of HGVs and trailers. Conducting routine inspections and Pre-MOT inspections, as necessary.
