Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in the UK is seeking experienced Class 1 and Class 2 HGV Drivers for various shifts throughout Surrey. The ideal candidate will hold a full UK driving licence and driver qualification cards, demonstrating reliability and safe operational experience. Competitive pay rates of £16ph PAYE or £20ph Umbrella are offered, with ongoing and flexible work available.

Qualifications

• Experience in safe vehicle operation as a Class 1 or Class 2 driver.
• Able to perform pre and post-operation vehicle inspections.
• Able to report safety issues on standard reports.

Responsibilities

• Follow the delivery schedule and interact confidently with dispatchers.
• Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures.

Job description

Overview

We are currently seeking experienced Class 1 and Class 2 HGV Drivers to fill positions throughout Surrey. A range of jobs are available with both day and night shift options from Monday - Sunday.

You will need

• Full UK Driving Licence
• Drivers Qualification Card (CPC)
• Drivers Tachograph Card
• Reliable and a good time keeper
• Experience of operating a Class 1 or Class 2 vehicle in a safe manner

Expectations

• Confident Class 1 or Class 2 driver
• Able to perform a complete pre and post operation inspection of the vehicle as required by company policy checking tyre pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges and controls are in good working order.
• Able to report any safety issues on standard reports
• Able to follow instructions and the delivery schedule and confident to interact with dispatchers to complete the job to a high standard
• Follow all required safety policies and procedures
