Job description

Are you a HGV driver looking for 1-6 days a week?

The Best Connection are currently seeking HGV Class 1 and Class 2 drivers seeking work in the following areas:

• Maidstone
• Medway
• Sittingbourne
• Tonbridge

We are currently seeking drivers for a number of roles that include general haulage, trunking, tramping and multi-drop.

Rest assured there will be no pressure on you to work, you tell us when you are available, and we will seek to provide work for you on those particular days.

Start times:

• Days - Range between 04:00-08:00 (Depending on the role)
• Nights - Range between 17:00-19:00 (Depending on the role)

Temporary workers will receive a minimum of 8-10 hours per day depending on the agreement with the client, so even if you only complete 4 hours, you will be guaranteed a full day's pay.

Pay Rates

HGV Class 1

• £18.00 - £25.00 per hour (PAYE)
• £22.51 - £30.93 per hour (Umbrella)

HGV Class 2

• £15.00 - £23.00 per hour (PAYE)
• £18.31 - £28.41 per hour (Umbrella)

The pay rates differ in line with the nature of the role and shift time.

To be eligible for this position, you must possess the following:

• UK Driving Licence (No more than 6 points)
• HGV licence
