Job summary

A logistics company in Tamworth is seeking HGV Class 1 night drivers for ongoing work. You will make nationwide deliveries of automotive parts, conduct vehicle checks, and use PDA handhelds for deliveries. Ideal candidates will have at least 6 months C+E driving experience and a friendly, professional attitude. This role offers a night rate of £18.50ph with no weekends or bank holidays.

• Category C+E held for minimum 2 years.
• Minimum 6 months C+E driving experience.
• Valid Tahco and DQC cards.

HGV Class 1 night driver

An exciting opportunity to work with one of our prestigious national clients based in Dordon, Tamworth has become available and we are currently looking for multiple HGV Class 1 night drivers for ongoing work.

The role will entail and not limited to:

• Making deliveries & collections nationwide of automotive parts to secure locations
• Up to a maximum of 15 drops per route, multiple drops in same location
• Handling Roll cage, loose items and some palletised goods
• Conducting vehicle checks pre and post-shift
• Use of PDA handhelds for deliveries
• Key holding for delivery locations

Benefits & Pay

For the right HGV Class 1 night driver:

• Night Rate - £18.50ph
• Block bookings in advance
• Start times between 21:30-23:30
• Monday to Friday nights
• No weekends or bank holidays
• Site is based in Dordon with easy access from the M42 Junction 10

Requirements

To be considered for this HGV Class 1 night driver role you will need:

• Category C+E (held for minimum 2 years)
• Minimum 6 Months C+E driving experience
• Valid Tahco and DQC cards
• Clean driving license (desirable)
• Experience in a similar role (desirable)
• Able to successfully complete client driving assessment
• Friendly, professional and dedicated to great customer service
