Job summary

Consolidated pay rates, £16.25 - £22.99 per hour.

Your Time at Work

As an HGV Class 1 Driver you will be responsible for:

• General Haulage depot, delivering for a number of customers. Ambient work trunked into depot for onward delivery.
• Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance needs to ensure roadworthiness.
• Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, logbooks, and other necessary paperwork in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Following all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to health and safety regulations.

Our Perfect Worker

Applicants will comply with on-site health and safety requirements. You will understand and be able to comply with the driver's hours and WTD legislation.

You should hold a valid HGV 1/C+E Licence, DCPC & Tacho cards and have a minimum of 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience with no more than 6 points, no DD/DR Code convictions.
