Your Training Journey

Training is spread over several months with a structured learning approach. Sessions take place at our dedicated Boots Hearingcare Academy in Llandudno, covering core audiology knowledge, customer interactions, and specialist procedures. Accommodation and expenses are fully covered so you can focus on learning and development.

In-Store Mentorship & Hands-On Experience

• Gain practical experience working alongside experienced Audiologists
• Develop expertise in hearing screenings, customer consultations, and hearing aid maintenance
• Learn how to confidently discuss hearing health, ear care products, and treatment pathways with customers

Specialist Skills & Advanced Hearing Services

• Progress into specialist training, including wax removal (Micro Suction)
• Learn about advanced hearing technology and tailor solutions for various hearing needs

Career Progression – Your Future in Audiology

This role is the first step toward a long-term career in hearing care. Upon completing the training program, you’ll be well-positioned to:

• Progress into clinical audiology roles, working toward formal audiology qualifications
• Develop into a Hearing Care Specialist with more responsibility in hearing assessments and ear care services
• Gain experience that could lead to a Hearing Aid Audiologist (HAA) role, with further training and qualifications available
