Overview

As a Hearing Care Assistant at Scrivens Opticians & Hearing Care, you'll play a key role in delivering outstanding customer service and supporting our Audiologists in providing high-quality hearing care. You'll be the friendly face our customers rely on - from initial consultation to aftercare. This is a rewarding and varied role, ideal for someone who is compassionate, organised and passionate about making a difference in people's lives.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with hearing screening and pre-consultation procedures
  • Support Audiologists during hearing tests and fittings
  • Provide advice on hearing aid care, maintenance and use
  • Deliver ongoing customer support including follow-up appointments and adjustments
  • Maintain accurate customer records and handle administrative tasks
  • Contribute to the day-to-day smooth running of the hearing care service in-branch and medical centres
  • Stay informed about hearing care products and developments
Qualifications
  • Friendly, patient-focused approach and excellent communication skills
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
  • Willing to learn and undergo training; while previous experience is a bonus, it is not essential
  • Confidence in using technology and handling equipment
  • Flexible and supportive team player who contributes positively to the workplace
  • Full clean driving licence is essential as this is a mobile role
