Job description

Prestige Nursing East Lancashire is looking for new members to join our growing team supporting individuals within their own homes and care settings.

Experience of working in care is preferred, but not essential; however you will require access to your own vehicle if completing day shifts – mileage is paid.

Having secured a significant amount of new work opportunities, we need compassionate, committed, caring staff to join our team and support our service users across the region.

We provide all new members with our mandatory training programme, and further client‑specific training where necessary.

We offer our members a variety of work patterns with service users on care routes throughout Accrington, Blackburn, Burnley, Colne, Darwen, Nelson, and surrounding areas.

We endeavour to keep you working as close to home as possible, but you will require access to your own vehicle and a full UK driving licence.

The Role

Tasks may include:

  • Personal care tasks; including washing and toileting
  • Administering medication
  • Encouraging diet and fluid intake
  • Promoting independence
  • Completing documentation to a high standard
  • Using Prestige's call monitoring service
