We are introducing two new Gastroenterology/Colorectal, 28 bedded wards at The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital, due to open at the end of this year. Several permanent Health Care Assistant (HCA) positions are available to support these new modular wards. You could be new to care or an experienced care worker; we are keen to talk to you about opportunities here as an HCA on our inpatient wards, supporting our registered nursing staff to provide excellent care to our patients.
We will offer you the required skills and training needed to care for the patients, along with the opportunity to learn from experienced members of the current Surgical Wards as they transition into their new surroundings.
We provide care 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, so you will need the flexibility to work days, weekends and night shifts including bank holidays.
