Overview

  • Prompt or administer medication in line with care plans and training.

  • Offer companionship, emotional support, and reassurance to reduce isolation and promote wellbeing.
  • Monitor and record any changes in service users’ health or circumstances, reporting concerns to senior staff or healthcare professionals.
  • Promote dignity, privacy, and choice at all times.
  • Work in partnership with families, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals to deliver consistent and effective care.
  • Demonstrate compassion, patience, and good communication skills in every aspect of care.
Qualifications
