A local healthcare service in Newport Pagnell is seeking a permanent healthcare assistant to support the nursing team. The role involves assisting in patient care under supervision, performing venepuncture, and conducting health checks, while offering opportunities for skill development within a multidisciplinary team. Newport Pagnell Medical Centre has a fantastic opportunity for a permanent healthcare assistant to join the practice, to support the nursing team. The hours for this role can be flexible so please apply to discuss.
Working under the direct supervision of the lead nurse, and strictly in accordance with specific practice guidelines and protocols, you will assist the clinical team in the provision and delivery of prescribed programmes of patient care.
The healthcare assistant will be able to apply their clinical skills and knowledge to carry out high quality practice within designated clinical areas.
The role will offer you the opportunity to build on your experience, skills and competence, requiring you to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
