Overview

Reeson Education are urgently looking for a Health Care Assistant to work in a special needs school situated in the borough of Croydon. This is a full time position, starting immediately.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with children who have profound and multiple learning difficulties.
• Support the class teacher with teaching assistant responsibilities as needed.
• Assist with manual handling and the use of hoists.
• Provide personal care and administer medications as required.
• Monitor progression and regression in students.
• Support children at Key Stages 3, 4 and 5 in multi-sensory lessons.

Requirements

• Academic confidence and ability to support teaching when required.
• Willingness to work in a school setting with pupils who have complex needs.
• Full-time availability, 8:30am – 4:30pm, Monday to Friday, term time only.
