Job description
Overview

An enthusiastic Healthcare Assistant is invited to join the ENT Outpatient Department at Kettering General Hospital (KGH) with occasional activity at NGH ENT OPD when needed. The post is a full-time 08:00–18:00, Monday to Friday role requiring collaboration across KGH and NGH ENT OPD during staffing pressures as per UHN trust guidelines. The post is not eligible for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route or Health and Care Worker visa. Only candidates who can demonstrate their right to work in the UK without sponsorship will be considered.

Responsibilities
  • Work at KGH ENT OPD (Main site) and NGH ENT OPD when needed.
  • Support the running of the clinics within the ENT Outpatients Department, providing reassurance, support and empathy to patients.
  • Provide and maintain a high standard of evidence-based care to meet identified needs.
  • Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure delivery of individual treatment plans under the guidance of qualified team members.
  • Be part of ENT Shared Decision Making Council projects.
  • Collaborate with NGH ENT OPD and cover KGH ENT OPD & NGH ENT OPD during staffing challenges as per UHN trust guidelines.

  • A motivated and resilient healthcare assistant with a "can do" attitude to join a friendly ENT Outpatient Department.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team, maintain patient privacy and dignity, and provide patient-centered care.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills; forward-thinking, well-organised and adaptable to change.
