A leading civils organisation based in Bristol is seeking a Health and Safety Manager to ensure the safe delivery of a major infrastructure project. The ideal candidate will have a NEBOSH Certificate, strong technical knowledge of health and safety legislation, and experience in civil engineering. This role offers a salary of circa £70,000 plus a car or allowance, requiring a self-starter with leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in implementing health and safety policies and procedures.
• Ability to engage with managers and answer technical health and safety queries.
• Experience conducting audits, inspections, and accident investigations.

Responsibilities

• Implement health and safety policies and procedures on site.
• Engage with clients and external stakeholders as a key point of contact.
• Constantly seek areas for improvement in health and safety.

Skills

Proven experience in a similar role ideally within civil engineering or utilities

Good organisational skills

NEBOSH Certificate
