A leading supply chain solutions provider in the UK seeks a Health & Safety Manager to promote safety and environmental awareness at their Leyland site. Responsibilities include developing safety strategies and conducting audits. Ideal candidates will have a NEBOSH certificate and experience in the grocery sector. Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for a Health & Safety Manager to join our team in Leyland, supporting our customer Waitrose. You\'ll take responsibility for all thing\'s health and safety, quality and environmental at site and help push our road to zero campaign. We\'re looking for someone to champion and promote occupational health, safety and environmental awareness throughout the site whilst always leading from the front.
This is a full time, permanent position, predominately working Monday to Friday, 09:00 till 17:00. However, this is a very busy, fast paced 24/7 site, so you\'ll need to be flexible and arrange your time to ensure you know what\'s happening on the night and weekend shifts. This is logistics after all!
We\'re looking to offer a salary of up to £48,000.00, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays).
