A leading engineering and construction company in the UK seeks an experienced Project Health & Safety Manager to oversee Health and Safety responsibilities on a major rail project in Basingstoke. The role involves promoting a safety-first culture, liaising with clients and stakeholders, and reviewing H&S challenges alongside experienced teams. Are you an experienced Health & Safety professional within the Rail sector? This role is working on a project worth c£2Billion across the Hampshire region.
The client is one of the leading engineering and construction companies in the UK and provide specialist building, civil engineering, and rail expertise to a range of markets to provide a truly integrated service to clients. They possess proven experience and deliver successful projects in a wide range of industries, including commercial, industrial, education, rail infrastructure and depots, airports, waste, and energy. They will support both financially and through mentorship towards chartership and other relevant qualifications.
You will be an experience Health & Safety Manager who either currently holds your CMIOSH or working towards chartership. You will have experience working within major projects, with the ability to communicate effectively with the client. The project will be focused on Earthworks, Structures, Stations, Drainage and Civils.
Salary up to £65,000 per annum, 45 hours a week, Car or Car Allowance, Matched Pension to 5%
