Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a health and safety role.
  • Recognised Health and Safety qualification.
  • Technical membership of IOSH or IIRSM.

Responsibilities

  • Provide timely professional advice on health and safety matters.
  • Provide onsite support and advise on client activities.
  • Conduct monitoring and auditing of outsourced contractors.
  • Investigate accidents and ensure legal compliance.

Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Current knowledge of health and safety legislation
Ability to work confidently without direct supervision
Highly planned and organised approach
Effective at persuading and influencing

Education

NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent
Technical membership of IOSH
Graduated to GCSE standard Maths and English
