  • Develop your career – You'll have support for ongoing training, access to new tools and practices, and opportunities to influence business-wide improvements.
  • Enjoy balance and benefits – With consistent weekday hours and a competitive package, you'll also benefit from a welcoming team culture and genuine work-life balance.
What you'll be doing :
  • Ensure compliance with all HS&E legislation across site operations.
  • Lead site-wide audits, risk assessments (incl. PUWER & COSHH), and safety reviews.
  • Investigate incidents, manage reporting, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Develop and manage Safe Systems of Work and Permits to Work.
  • Lead HS&E Committee meetings and ensure follow-through on actions.
  • Deliver contractor and visitor safety protocols.
  • Oversee emergency planning, drills and evacuation procedures.
  • Maintain and update key documentation, policies and training records.
About you :
  • Experience in an HS&E management role within manufacturing or engineering.
  • In-depth knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation and best practice.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and lead.
  • Hands‑on, proactive mindset with a calm and organised approach.
  • NEBOSH or equivalent HS&E qualification (desirable).

  • Competitive salary from £45,000- £50,000 (dependent on experience)
  • Early finish every other Friday.
  • 33 days holiday (including bank holidays)
  • Company pension & life assurance
