A multi-disciplined company in the Stoke-on-Trent area is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Consultant. The role involves site inspections, health & safety assessments, and providing technical support to clients. Ideal candidates will have a strong technical background in asbestos or similar fields, along with NEBOSH or equivalent qualifications. Out client is a multi‑disciplined company offering a range of environmental services including asbestos, occupational and water hygiene services to a diverse client base. They are currently seeking an experienced and committed Health & Safety Consultant based in and around Stoke on Trent.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Strong technical/consultancy/management/auditing background in asbestos, legionella, fire, or related industries.
  • Relevant NEBOSH, CMIOSH or equivalent health & safety qualification.
  • Practical working experience in asbestos, legionella, or fire environments.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to organise workload and prepare presentations.
  • Fully conversant with health and safety legislation, policies and procedures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Extensive travelling required – flexible attitude to work.
Main Responsibilities
  • Attend sites to carry out inspections relating to the health & safety performance of the teams.
  • Undertake health & safety risk assessments and deal with all issues that arise.
  • Carry out health & safety, staff and compliance audits.
  • Provide technical support to the company’s clients.
  • Produce comprehensive audit, health & safety and environmental reports.
  • Conduct safety training courses.
