As a key member of our Health, Safety and Compliance team, you'll support the Head of Department in ensuring our properties meet all legislative obligations while promoting a proactive safety culture. You'll lead audits, risk assessments, and compliance initiatives across our diverse hospitality and event spaces, including ICC Wales.
Responsibilities
- Conduct audits, inspections, and investigations across all properties.
- Monitor compliance using software tools and track KPIs such as incident rates and hygiene scores.
- Support the implementation of health, safety, and quality systems and policies.
- Collaborate with operational teams to ensure corrective actions are completed.
- Deliver basic training and support scenario-based drills.
- Promote a positive safety culture and continuous improvement.
- Liaise with facilities and maintenance teams to ensure building compliance.
- Analyse data and produce actionable reports and insights.
Qualifications
- Level 3 qualification or above in Health & Safety.
- Strong knowledge of UK H&S legislation, food safety, and fire safety.
- At least 1 year of recent and relevant experience.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Desirable: Membership of a recognised professional body.
- Experience in hospitality or multi-site environments.
- Proven ability to coach and influence at all levels.
- Track record of implementing policies and driving positive change.
