A healthcare provider in Norwich is seeking an experienced Health Care Assistant to join their busy team. The role involves assisting in patient care, performing clinical tasks like phlebotomy and ECG recording, and supporting quality healthcare services. Candidates should have relevant healthcare experience and must be able to work in a team environment. The position offers 37.5 hours of work a week and a good mix of professional development and support.

Hours of work are 37.50 hours per week with five weeks annual leave and allocatedstudy leave.
Duties to include Long Term Condition Reviews, CVD Health Checks, Phlebotomy, ECGs. BP Recording, Dressings and Flu/ Pneumo vaccinations.

Job summary
To assist in patient care and practice related duties working under thedirect supervision of the GPs / Practice Nurses and strictly in accordance withspecific Practice guidelines and protocols. The Health Care Assistant will workcollaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of patients,following policy and procedures.
The Health CareAssistant will be required to support the practice team in providing highquality primary care services to the patients registered with the Practice. TheHealth Care Assistant needs to practice in a safe and confident manner,respecting the principles of health, safety, infection control and security atall times
The Health CareAssistant will be required to attend all appropriate updates and refreshercourses within the timeframes specified for the clinical tasks in question.This will take into account any new or amended policies, protocols andprocedures relating to any aspect of clinical practice.

Processingand management of laboratory samples as requested by the GPs.

Preparingand maintaining environments and equipment before, during and after patientcare interventions including assisting GPs during the performance of minoroperations.
Undertakingspecific clinical activities for named patients that have been delegated andtaught specifically in relation to that individual.
Helpingraise awareness of health and well-being and how it can be promoted.
Undertakeadministrative support as required
Assistingwith the collation of data on needs related to health and well-being.
Anyad-hoc task as delegated by the GP Partners, within level of competencies.
