Key Duties of the Health Care Assistant role include:
  • Providing personal care when needed
  • Assisting the service user to take prescribed medication
  • Preparation of snacks and meals according to the service user's likes / dislikes
  • Supporting with daily activities
  • Housekeeping tasks: bed changing, meal serving, tidying rooms etc
  • Any other duties as required to benefit the needs of the client
