About the Role

This 0.8 FTE maternity cover position offers the opportunity to teach Health and Social Care across Key Stage 4 and 5, inspiring pupils through engaging, well-structured lessons that foster critical thinking and practical skills. You will lead and coordinate programmes of study, ensuring pupils are well-prepared for external assessments and vocational qualifications.

You will be part of a supportive subject team within a school that embraces innovative teaching approaches and up-to-date facilities. Beyond the classroom, you’ll contribute to pupil wellbeing, act as a form tutor, and help build strong links with parents and the local community.

If you have additional interests or expertise in psychology, childcare, or criminology, this role offers a wonderful chance to bring those passions into your teaching and enrich the curriculum.
