Health and Safety Officer (HSE), Catfield, Norfolk, £35,000 to £40,000

Are you NEBOSH qualified and ready for your next Health and Safety role?

Would you like to join a global business in the marine manufacturing and engineering sector?

We are recruiting a Health and Safety Officer or Coordinator for a long established, multi site organisation based in Catfield. You will take ownership of day to day site HSE and work closely with the leadership team to drive continuous improvement.

The role

• Complete COSHH and wider risk assessments
• Support compliance with UK HSE legislation and the wider group HSE strategy
• Liaise with HSE colleagues across sister sites to share best practice
• Deliver HSE training, coaching and guidance to leaders and managers
• Coordinate HSE representatives and communicate key actions to the leadership team
• Support and contribute to HSE audits

The person

• NEBOSH qualification, essential
• IOSH or Grad IOSH, preferred
• Experience in a similar HSE role within manufacturing or engineering
• Strong working knowledge of UK HSE legislation
• Auditing experience, internal or external

Package

• Salary circa £35,000 - £40,000
• 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
• The hours are 8:00 - 4:30pm Monday - Friday
