Responsibilities
  • Acting as the competent person for health & safety, promoting a safe working culture across the business
  • Managing environmental systems and ensuring compliance with legislative requirements
  • Driving initiatives to improve energy efficiency, waste recycling, and reduce environmental impact
  • Overseeing facilities maintenance, ensuring safe, clean, and compliant workspaces
  • Managing relationships with suppliers, contractors, and local authorities
  • Leading risk assessments, audits, and accident investigations, implementing improvements where necessary
  • Preparing reports and KPIs for senior leadership and safety committees
  • Coordinating occupational health functions and supporting return‑to‑work plans
