A public sector client in Bristol is seeking a Health & Safety Officer to ensure compliance with health and safety standards in housing repairs and maintenance. The role entails conducting audits, providing advice, and collaborating with stakeholders to promote a safe environment. The ideal candidate should have substantial experience in health and safety within construction and hold a valid UK driving licence.
A client within the Public Sector based in Bristol is currently recruiting for a Health & Safety Officer - Housing Repairs & Maintenance to join their Housing & Landlord Services Team as soon as possible. The client is offering a full time, temporary position on an ongoing basis with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority within a housing and construction health & safety environment.
Key purpose of the role to ensure health and safety standards are met and maintained across the Housing & Landlord Services Repairs & Maintenance Service. The role will focus on ensuring safe working environments for staff, contractors and residents, while carrying out audits, inspections and advising on compliance with legislation and best practice.

The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering £27 per hour Umbrella LTD Inside IR35 (approx. £22 per hour PAYE).
