Job description

Lighthouse Risk Services LLP is a national firm of Health & Safety and Employment Law consultants with offices in Leeds. We provide services including Fire Risk Assessments, Asbestos Surveys, CDM, and Health & Safety Training.

We are seeking an enthusiastic Health and Safety Consultant/Fire Risk Assessor to support our growing team.

Your main duties will include:

  1. Conducting Health & Safety audits and reviews of safe working practices
  2. Performing fire risk assessments on various properties
  3. Carrying out independent contract site inspections
  4. Assisting with risk assessments and method statements
  5. Preparing policy documentation
  6. Conducting safety training courses
  7. Providing support and advice to clients
  8. Assisting with SSIP accreditation applications and tender documentation
  9. Undertaking specialist surveys and assessments (qualification dependent)

The ideal candidate will hold a NEBOSH General/Fire Certificate (or equivalent). Membership of IOSH/IFE and a P402 asbestos surveying certificate are advantageous. Prior experience in H&S consultancy or fire risk assessment in a customer-facing environment is desirable.

This role is primarily home-based, with visits to clients nationwide, which may involve occasional overnight stays. A full driving license is required.
