Qualifications

  • Experience delivering training and engaging effectively would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Visit site, provide advice on health, safety and fire-related matters.
  • Conduct accident and incident investigations, preparing accurate reports.
  • Undertake audits and inspections across multiple sites.
  • Support the rollout of key safety initiatives across the organisation.
  • Deliver training on major risk topics and safe working practices.

Irwin and Colton have been engaged to recruit a Health and Safety Advisor for a leading Tier 1 Principal Contractor, delivering major construction and engineering projects across the Southeast and Southwest. The organisation is renowned for its technical excellence, long‑term project pipeline and strong commitment to sustainability and innovation.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a foundation in health and safety who's eager to learn, develop, and progress their career. The role covers a regional area and will include regular travel.

Responsibilities
  • Visit site, provide advice on health, safety and fire‑related matters, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and internal standards
  • Conduct accident and incident investigations, preparing accurate reports
  • Undertake audits and inspections across multiple sites, identifying areas for improvement
  • Support the rollout of key safety initiatives across the organisation
  • Deliver training on major risk topics, safe working practices and organisational life‑saving rules
Qualifications
