About The Role

Join Reckitt as we redefine Communications and Corporate Affairs on a global scale. In this pivotal role, you'll lead the development and delivery of an integrated strategy that aligns with our company vision and business goals, enhancing our reputation across a diverse range of stakeholders.

You’ll collaborate with subject matter experts to drive unified efforts across corporate communications, internal messaging, government affairs, media relations, and social impact. By establishing an effective operating model and partnering with senior leadership, you’ll ensure consistent messaging and engagement throughout the organisation.

Lead the creation of integrated campaigns around key initiatives, co-developing with functional experts for maximum reach and influence. Your strategy’s success will be measured with robust KPIs to continuously refine our communications and amplify impact.

Your responsibilities

  • Own the communication & corporate affairs strategy for the function
  • Define the operating model with clear roles and responsibilities to deliver efficiency and alignment
  • Manage the communications governance within the function and into the broader organisation
  • Partner with the Corporate Affairs and Communications team to represent the functional priorities as part of the broader communications plan
  • Coach and mentor the senior team within the function to improve the effectiveness of their communications

The experience we're looking for

  • Approx. 10+ years Corporate Communications experience
  • Strategic communications planning and execution
  • Reputation tracking and management
  • Communications coaching and training
  • Stakeholder engagement, particularly with senior leaders in a business
  • Strong business acumen and experience of operating within a leadership team outside core area of expertise
  • Collaborative and visible approach to leadership which involves valuing and supporting learning and teamwork
