Role Overview

The Head of Sales – Laminate Surfaces will promote the client’s manufactured range of laminate surfaces across the country.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the Head of Field Sales position, promoting the client’s manufactured range of laminate surfaces.
  • Manage, develop and mentor a team of 4 specification sales and 2 field sales professionals.
  • Set individual targets as well as the team target.
  • Oversee circa 20 key accounts together with the Country Manager and sales team.
  • Drive projects such as schools, hospitals, high‑street stores, commercial offices, sports centres (e.g., Holiday Inn).
Qualifications & Experience
  • People‑management experience.
  • Experience selling products such as laminates, surfaces, panels, decorative panels, worktops, commercial interiors, etc.
  • Appreciation for both specification sales and field sales via architects, interior designers, fabricators and contractors.
  • Team player with a self‑sufficient problem‑solving mindset and a learning‑as‑you‑develop attitude.
  • Strong negotiation skills, commercial awareness and decisive decision‑making abilities.

Remuneration
